Robyn A. Defelice, Ph.D., is a consultant and strategist in the learning and development field and an occasional adjunct professor teaching the art and science of instructional design. Her energy comes from collaborating with her clients to develop empowering, effective, and sustainable solutions.

Always up for a challenge, Ms. Defelice has a wide stratification of skills ranging from client management, performance improvement, risk and change management, along with more exciting talents in structuring and defining learning programs to writing creative case studies and branching-styled stories.

Her background ranges from startups, higher education, and state agencies to major health systems, insurance, and pharmaceuticals. She is also a geek for data that provides insight into the industry of creating and producing educational products.

Kathleen Horton

Kathleen Horton is a Studio Director and Master Instructional Designer at Navis Learning a BLR brand. For more than 20 years, she has worked in a variety of L&D roles. She has developed and managed many successful classroom and online training programs for wide range of industries, roles and audiences. She was the Director of e-Learning for Fidelity Investments where she built their first client e-learning library, and most recently she was an Sr. Learning Designer at PwC where she was a Brandon Hall Gold Medal Award winner for excellence in compliance training. Ms. Horton was an adjunct faculty member at the Center for Digital Imaging and Arts at Boston University. She holds a B.A. in Studio Art and English Communications from Emmanuel College and a master’s degree in Human Resource Education from Boston University. health systems, insurance, and pharmaceuticals. Sharon Lucas

Sharon Lucas offers over 28 years of experience in the field of Organizational Learning and Development, Facilitation, Executive Coaching and Instructional Design. She began her training career working for a private investigator, training others on how to detect cellular fraud, working on a kidnapping as well as gang related crimes. Ms. Lucas transitioned to corporate to do what she loves most, building and leading the learning and development function. For the past 16 years she has had the privilege of partnering with a multitude of organizations providing innovative learning and organizational solutions as a consultant. Clients include GE, Synchrony Financial, Diamond Offshore Drilling, Noble Drilling, Toyota, Interliant, BBB, Eaton, Dick’s Sporting Goods, SK E&C, Nortek, SABIC, Americanized Benefits Consultants, Atkins, Fiesta Mart, Valerus, Houston Cellular and many others.

Ms. Lucas possesses the unique combination of offering instructional design, facilitation and organizational development solutions and has designed and facilitated Train the Trainer Sessions, Leadership/Management solutions, DISC Certification, Coaching, Team Building, Sales Training, Time Management, Business Writing, and Presentation Skills. She has worked with executive teams creating mission and vision statements for their organizations. Ms. Lucas has also consulted with companies to help establish competency-based succession planning, hiring and training processes and executive presentations. In addition, Ms. Lucas and her team have created innovative and engaging solutions including a Gamification Leadership Course, a portable Escape Room, virtual learning solutions, and Graphic Recording and Facilitation. Sharon is a highly energetic, interactive, fully engaging designer and facilitator who believes that participants need to be involved in the learning process to ensure the application and retention of the content.

Ms. Lucas holds a M.S. in Occupational Technology with a focus on Organizational Development, Training, Coaching and Instructional Design. She also earned a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. Sharon is passionate about the design process, training and coaching, making it a goal to impact each and every one of the participants she comes into contact with. Her goal is to assist people and organizations in maximizing their effectiveness.

Terry Patterson

Terry Patterson, he leader of Deloitte’ Consulting LLP’s learning solutions practice, has a deep background in learning and leadership development specifically, and in talent management and other HR disciplines more broadly. Most recently, he has been leading large scale learning transformation engagements focused on helping clients reshape their learning organizations to deliver compelling career experiences for their workforces. A particular area of focus is linking learning with other core talent disciplines (performance management, leadership development, engagement, culture) around the central organizing concept of capability and career development in service of business strategy execution. He has over 20 years of experience as a consultant and corporate HR executive.

Thomas A. Toth

Thomas Toth has over 20 years of global experience in the design and development of training programs and educational technology. He has led the creation and implementation of global learning initiatives for companies like Western Union, Janus Capital Group, and SafeNet. As a consultant, he has designed training programs for clients such as CHANEL, DiSH, Kelly-Moore Paint, Swarovski, Newmont Mining, the Walmart Foundation, Airgas, Murale and Trizetto.

Mr. Toth is a recognized as an expert and innovator in the area of online learning and is a regular speaker for the Association for Talent Development (ATD), and has delivered presentations to the eLearning Guild, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) and Pepperdine University. He is the winner of ELearning! Magazine’s Learning Champion Award 2016 in the category of Mentor.

Mr. Toth is the author of the books Technology for Trainers, first and second edition, and a contributing author to both the ASTD Handbook for Workplace Learning Professionals and Michael Allen’s eLearning Annual 2012. His work in the area of leadership program development lead to an ASTD BEST award for training and development in 2008. In 2016, Learning! Magazine recognized Mr. Toth as a Learning Champion winner in the category of Mentor.
