Connie Malamed is a “Next Generation Instructional Design” expert who helps organizations craft strategies and experiences that improve performance and the recipient of the Guild Master award in recognition of outstanding contributions to the eLearning Guild community and the learning technologies industry.
As a learning experience designer for Connie Malamed Consulting, she works collaboratively with organizations to identify the most effective strategies for improving workplace performance, create the best solutions for disseminating information, design and create digital media (including online courses and web portals), review course materials and make recommendations for improvement, and coach teams that want to improve their competencies. Malamed’s goal is to provide training content that’s well-designed, easy-to-understand, and engaging. Her design work is based on the cognitive science of how people perceive and process information.
In addition to consulting, Malamed speaks and writes in the fields of online learning, visual communication, and information design. She has a Masters’ Degree in Instructional Technology and a background in Visual Arts. She is the author of Visual Design Solutions and Visual Language for Designers.

Martinez holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a Master of Science degree in Organization Leadership. Martinez was named a “Great Women of Gaming – Proven Leader” in 2004 by Casino Enterprise Management magazine. Martinez served as a key member of the Public Relations and Community Relations committee in 2007 and 2008 on the Southern Nevada Human Resources Association Board. She served as a Board member for the Southern Nevada Chapter Red Cross from 2014-2017. She is currently a Circle of Red Member and recently served as the co-chair for the Go Red For Women Event held on February 22, 2019 in Las Vegas in support of the American Heart Association. Dan Nelson is both a commercial litigator and a privacy and data security lawyer. And what makes him even more unique is that he is among the few U.S. attorneys to hold the title of Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH). That means he has been trained to break into computers, but for the right reasons. His combined interest in technology and the desire to help clients protect their privacy and sensitive data motivated him to take the unusual step of becoming what’s known as a “white hat” hacker. Through this arduous training, Nelson learned how to break into protected systems and networks to test and assess their security. Because of this, he offers clients a perspective that few lawyers possess. In addition to his ethical hacking credential, he is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US). This credential means that he knows privacy laws and regulations and how to apply them.
Nelson’s special training and experience enhances his ability to help clients protect against and prepare for data breaches and other cybersecurity incidents. He assists clients in the creation, implementation and enforcement of privacy and security policies and data breach plans.
